United Health Care denied 32% of claims in 2022...

Not a reason to kill a guy. However, Congress should investigate why other companies deny between 20% and 7%. Real Medicare hasn't denied any of my wife's many , many large claims for years.
Standard Medicare will not...they just write checks. Medicare Advantage you have the same issues as regular medical insurance. Just try and get skill nursing care under Med.Advantage. It is Managed Care...

Regular Medicare doesn’t really deny claims. They pay everything up front and investigate legitimacy years later. In exchange for this up front payment, they pay doctors about 30% less than a private payor. Also because of this structure, about 25%-30% of charges to Medicare are illegitimate.

Whereas private insurance companies pre-certify things up front and then pay.

There are ALREADY LAWS AND RULES in place to enforce how insurance companies operate. Our regulators do not enforce them.

And yes, UHC is more aggressive in their denials than anyone else. They suck

Claim denials aren’t a problem in prison. He should worry about parole denials.

Probably the way to go if you can afford it...you maintain more control with regular Medicare and a Supplement.

United Supplement pays the rest of the bill Medicare doesn't pay. Medicare supplements don't get a chance to deny a claim. Medicare Advantage allows claim denial since it is private insurance.
