at the basketball game, I wore a Georgia hat to the tech vs NC State game last night and no tech fan said a word. When I scanned our tickets for entry, the “ticket taker” told me he liked my hat and said “Go Dawgs.” I also got another Go Dawgs in the concourse in the 2nd quarter. I even ventured into the bathroom. It wasn’t very crowded but nobody said a word. They were lucky they were playing such a shitty opponent. They got 7 points off of what I assume they called a fumble on a pop pass that should have been an incompletion IMO and then had an interception return to the 1 or 2. So they only had 1 TD drive, the one that started with 1:30 remaining. The only thing you can say is they made plays when they had to. I’m not sure that Haynes King threw a single pass but Philo did run effectively a number of times. So we might be able to ignore the pass when King is in, we can’t ignore the run when Philo is in even though he isn’t as fast or elusive as King.
