This kind of stuff pisses me off. You can get on YouTube and see hundreds of hours of police abusing their authority with little to no repercussions.

I’ve never been in trouble in my life outside of speeding tickets so I don’t have any kind of personal grudge, but you can’t beat a man with your handcuffs as brass knuckles when he’s not being aggressive towards you. Well, maybe you can.

I have no idea why the link won’t work. It’s still on X.

Here’s a news clip with both incidences.

The officer hitting with the handcuffs said "Yea I want to fight" right before he wrapped them around his fists.

Comply with the law, you don’t get beat up. Billy Bob from Cordelle got what he was looking for. No issues by me when people can’t control their alcohol.
Where is Cordelle? Did the Senior citizen Fla fan with his arms over his head deserve the flying fists to his head by the officer? No idea what started it but it got out of hand.

Will be interesting to see what comes of it at the news conference.

I think when he swatted the hand away when the officer approached him was the escalation. The reaction didn’t balance it out but you’re asking for trouble, justified or not, if you don’t follow instructions.
I do agree with that and that’s probably one reason I’ve never had a problem with police officers, but beating someone’s face in with handcuffs can’t possibly be the justified response if someone lightly swats your hand away while posing no threat to you or others.

Maybe if someone has that little control over their temper they shouldn’t be entrusted with enforcing our laws. People talk crazy to me at work all the time and I don’t get to beat the piss out of them with brass knuckles but I guess I’m just built different in my grindset and not a sensitive little bitch
Have you considered offering your services to local PDs by holding Grindset Seminars?

Welcome to America. This is nothing new, sadly.

Agreed.

Built different

That is what tasers and Capsican are made for. I saw one video where a drunk threw a punch first; that would warrant a response, but fists would be a last resort and only if you are wearing gloves.
If the Officers have a drunk that won't comply; after verbal warnings taser use is justified.

It must just be me,...but after the first tase and before the second tase, the Georgia fan calls the cop the N word,...it's the reason it got personal and can be heard in pure clips on YouTube without obnoxious commentary

Now it's shitty to use the N word, ..it's even more shitty to use a handcuff as brass knuckles to create indentures into one's skull,...a case of everyone involved being dumb on various scales of dumbness

Not smart for an LEO to react like that to name calling. That happens almost everyday and you should get used to it. Technically you should not use force if someone spits on you; but that is a hard pill to swallow.

I agree,..it explains the overreacting,....it doesn't justify it

'bad move'. That's what you label it.
Bad move on the Officers part; you could classify the incident" Sergeant Robert Warrington has been indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges, including one count of attempted second-degree murder, one count of first-degree assault, two counts of reckless endangerment and one count of misconduct in office. These charges were announced during a formal news conference on Thursday"
