I like the "freezing point" metaphor CFB pundit Josh Pate brings up from time to time. Your program could be sitting at 33° and you not realize it because the results just aren't visible yet.
Gives me hope that we're ultimately not as far off from where we want to get as a program as the results have shown recently.
