That is a line from The French leader's speech while the attacks were still playing out.
The entire speech showed remarkable presence of mind under such immediate pressure.
I recommend everybody go to a site ( I read it on the front page of The Washington Post) and read through the whole text. I don't think there will be anything soft in his leadership on this going forward.

I hope he follows through with it. It's really sad that it takes something like this to get him engaged. Many of the terrorists were there after a 2 day vetting process

Especially after our vetting process overseas was shown to be pitifully weak as well. We are getting too complacent in regards to Islamic fanaticism. We are
more worried about safe spaces for 'feelings' than the true safety of our countrymen.
I don't want to take anyone's liberty, but I am opposed to bringing human bombs into this country. If 1% of 10,000 are certifiably crazy, we've got a problem.

So, Hollande is going to RUTS on the JV team? How does our Dear Leader feel about that?

Obama really is a DA. How many stupid and inaccurate things does he have to say before our illustrious MSM calls him out?

The POTUS should immediately urge restraint and reflection. We should start negotiations between France and Isis to create a two state solution in France so the young Muslims can live in peace in their own state. Maybe we should have Hollande meet with Netanyahu so he can teach Hollande that these attacks can't result in pitiless attacks on the Islamicist.

A beer summit with his friends in the Muslim brotherhood ought to do it.

Before we get too fired up about the French, let's not forget...

Some people need to read The NYTs and other ''main stream'' sources. We have been carrying out targeted attacks, as opposed to invading countries, getting thousands of Americans killed while accomplishing little to nothing.
If France takes the lead and it's not OUR soldiers exposed for a change, I welcome it and applaud Hollande.

Hey man, I enjoy a good French joke as much as the next Guy.
France did lead in WWI though, they lost more French lives than we have Americans and Confederates in every war We've ever fought put together in the process.
They were just 20 years removed from that carnage when Gaydolf attacked.
I don't know if France will send an army or just special forces and air power, but I think they'll be far more engaged than they have been.

Here's hoping. It's going to take a couple of these in ATL and NO for some of us to ditch our Neville Chamberlain Halloween costumes.

48 hours ago Obama said ISIS is contained. The very next day .... Paris.

He is a fool.

I haven't heard anybody advocating appeasing ISIS.
There is no reason We should be stuck, yet again, with giving 90% of the blood and supplying 90% of the treasure for a problem affecting the entire civilized world though.
I'll be glad if everybody can set aside differences long enough to form a coalition with Russia, France, Turkey, The Brits and various Muslim factions to defeat ISIS. This time let others do most of the heavy and dangerous lifting.

I agree! No time for jokes like that about France. Been there many times. Good people. If anything, I'd love to see the U.S. giving them everything we can to support.

That statement from Pres Hollande sounded almost "Trump like."

I bet his academic record (Yale & Harvard) is off the chart compared to yours; and I can't stand the SOB. Care to share your academic exploits?

When I run for office You'll be the first to see all my academic, tax, legal and employment records, but it will cost you, this being America and all.

Of course I want to give all the needed intel and weapons We have that might help. I don't want to foot the bill or lead and bleed though.

The real shame is that any one of that begrudging coalitions should not need the rest of the world to come together with them to defeat/eliminate ISIS. We're not talking about taking on the Ottoman Empire here. I totally agree that the U.S. has always done more than our share, and typically get castigated for "doing more than we should" while being blamed for greed and imperialism and failed nation building, etc., etc., etc. Here's hoping the coalition is the solution and not just another problem, we'll likely be blamed for causing.
