All of the potential starters had solid outings this weekend.

Goldstein has a little ways to go but after giving up 3 runs in the first on Friday he really seemed to settle down.

Finley looked like his old self yesterday. If he can avoid mistakes and get to 50 pitches he just has that extra gear and becomes a different pitcher.

Smith responded to a man-to-man mound visit Friday and struck out two guys to get the save.

Hoskins looked like himself yesterday in the couple innings he pitched.

Not much to say about Curley. He definitely surprised me. One has to wonder if he might have put himself in the running to be in the regular rotation. I still prefer him in a closer kind of roll, especially if Georgia has a small lead. I like his confidence and have no reservation putting a close game in his hands.

I dare to say it, but we might be seeing a turnaround.
