The Department of Youth Indoctrination needs to be shut down.
GCU is a federally approved nonprofit with the paperwork to prove it. It is only within the Dept. of Ed. that this is treated otherwise.
Advertising frequently includes costs at the lower end of the spectrum. You know, if you don't live under a rock, that most of the time it will cost more if you make any choices above the buck minimum. If you don't know what "starting at $10K" means, do you really belong in a doctoral program? BTW, GCU is generally less expensive than our state funded universities. How the hell did that happen?
And what other institutions have been fined $37.7 million?
Does Harvard get shut down for jacking up their prices to take students' federal subsidies? Does Brown get shut down for bloating administration without benefit to academic programs? Did UNC get shut down for fake degree programs that undermined their reputation and the value of their degrees? How about Auburn?
