Dallas police station was attacked by a force of multiple shooters using automatic weapons and at least one bomb. The police have at least one of the shooters cornered. It will be interesting to see who we are at war with.

Now they're saying they think there are 4, the one they are "negotiating" with, they've released his info, a white guy named Boulware and he says they took his kid and accused him of being a terrorist. So this story should get interesting about being a terrorist.

I'm affaird we will see more of this. When you have a president bash the police and you have a media that rush to judgment on every case and not wait for the investigation to complete.

Oh I agree to a point but it's also others who hold it against police, teachers, etc. because of a "union". I can remember when the Peace Officers Assoc was having their annual fundraising calls, people on this very board took pride in telling them they don't donate to unions and hanging up on them.
There are good and bad cops and good outweighs the bad, imo. How many times have all of us thought UGA's chief of police has overreached? Many.
But in general scheme of things, they aren't paid enough to put their lives on the line and take verbal abuse from politicians, unruly citizens OR people hiding behind a keyboard, imo.

Early this am they were reporting multiple shooters from different angles. I think they still aren't sure. Nevertheless, it's like what was discussed here about the press earlier in the week. When these things happen, what little is said by authorities is easily blown up or made to be fact, when it is opinion or inuendo. It will probably be a few days before we know everything...including the police.
Turns out it was typical over reporting hysteria (attempt to grab eyes) and involved a case of mentally ill individual who has probably been influenced by media and liberal attempt to make police out to be the enemy of society.
