As a middle aged guy, I hear people say things that I know are wrong (not just factually, but fundamentally, on a toxic level.. just the world we live in, I suppose), but I'm finally getting too old to interject my opinion, put up a fight or challenge ideas that I know will invest a considerable amount if time.
I look forward to the day when I can say "that's a crock of shit" or "shit in your hat, you pansy", unchallenged when I hear bullshit. I realized when I was taking care of mom in her later years, that her unhinged lack of filter, gifted her with not only charm, but varnished her with an impenetrable firewall from censure and granted her an indomitable sense of incredulity and capriciousness. I wanna be that old guy.
