Well if Saban retires, maybe Smart can hire him. Richt just said in the press conference he misses calling plays. So we could have Richt as OC and Saban as DC. Seriously though, I doubt Saban is worried about what the fallout will be to his program. He has built it expecting his assist. coaches to leave. When you are the best, everyone wants a piece. As for recruits there may be some that come our way but while I love UGA, Bama gets the pick of the litter usually.
Saban can succeed with most any coaching staff He hand picks. He is not a delegator who sinks or swims with each hire.
That said, it doesn't mean We can't raise Our boat to that level and peel off a few recruits who might have gone to Tuscaloosa in the past.
Sadly, I like the defensive staff We have right now as much or more than Bama's, We were headed for defensive greatness with these coaches and players.
No, he will hire Pruitt as DC and be in the championship game again next year. All Pruit's recruits will go to AL too.
Pruitt taking recruits with him is a real concern. I hope those who had their feelings boo booed can be adults and do what's best for Our program, which is clearly making every effort to keep this defensive staff.
