on how the Dawgs are going about recruiting? I was at a very high level showcase event this past weekend in the Atlanta area and had some interesting conversations with a few Dad's. Some of these Dad's kids have been recruited pretty heavily and have offers from big programs and they just finished their Freshman year. I was told that Georgia's philosophy is not to offer a kid until they finish their sophomore season. I can see wisdom in that approach because sometimes kids may peak early or you have some late bloomers but the problem that I see is that some of the very best are committing to other programs before Georgia ever gets in the game. I know this sounds crazy because that is a very young age but from what I have witnessed is that most of the very best are the very best each time they move up an age bracket.
