The Auburn player intentionally ripped a Cal player’s helmet off, and a penalty went against Cal because there is a new rule where if your helmet gets ripped off you have to stop playing immediately.

What exactly is the definition of “stop playing“? Do you have to freeze like a game of freeze tag?

And is there no longer a penalty for ripping off a helmet?

You can literally go up to the opposing team, rip their helmets off, and it’s 15 yards against them!
