So there have been a lot of rumors running around regarding the status of defensive back Willaim Poole after we reported he wasn't at practice.
Kirby Smart, as is his nature in situations like this, has not exactly made clear what Poole's situation is:
"He’s dealing with some personal issues, and we’ll see if he makes the trip or not."
Many of our usual sources have been quiet all week.
Finally this morning we have a little more clarity.
As it stands right now, Poole is not with the team. He will not be going to South Carolina. When I asked if he would be back with the team later, one source said it was not looking good at the moment.
We will continue to dig.
Poole started a couple of games for UGA last year but Javon Bullard has been playing the Star role the last two games.
