We started to post this on Tuesday but were told it wasn't a big deal. And we still believe it is just precautionary.
On Tuesday we were told Mekhi Mews was wearing a boot. We were told he'd be fine and back at practice. We believe he was back at practice on Wednesday. Today he was seen on a boot again which is not unusual when they are trying to be precautionary. This happens a lot but just in case it pops up anywhere else, just know we were told he is supposed to be back this week.
In other words, we expect him to play but if for some reason he doesn't, it has to do with him wearing a boot.
There are a lot of times when a guy is spotted in a boot after practice, they still play on Saturday. Sometimes they don't. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
Update : confirmed Mews was at practice on Wednesday and was full go. So that tracks with what our sources told us.
