I just looked them up and found Britt Gaston, who lived in Charleston, South Carolina, in the obituary and Cliff Courtenay is living in Valdosta, and recently retired as an eye doctor.

Per an inmate, who claims to be one of the top softball players in the history of the ATL recreational league, Hank took a vow to never help the White man after getting his ass beat by Denny Lemaster, on the Braves' team bus, just north of Palm Beach, circa '66, during spring training.
Can you imagine how bitter Hank would now be if he'd ended up with 713 career home runs.

I was probably wishing someone would come change my diaper. I was in black mountain, nc. I know cliff a little. My folks know him better. I knew Britt pretty well. Moved back to waycross when I turned 5. My parents are still there. Britt lived across the street from me for several years on coral rd in Cherokee heights, and his younger brother was a good friend before I left for Athens and he moved to Florida. Both were good people. Britt was always good to me. Sharp guy with a quick wit. He would have been a hoot on this board. I would bet he used to at least lurk around here if not post. I was at the game. He hit it early in game and stands were packed. By later innings fair weather fans who just came for the moment were gone. It got cold and windy and I remember hot dog wrappers flying everywhere.
