I noticed yesterday that they are using them again. To my knowledge, they first appeared during Chizik's tenure. Is this something that is unique to Auburn...like Toomers Corner?
I have never really understood their purpose or effectiveness. Very few schools use them...notably the most successful ones. Not to mention it takes a small detail to flip them and keep them current. God forbid some assistant puts up the wrong poster and they fake a field goal...and miss.
Anyone have any reliable info on this phenomenon?
