Here is what to remember about UGA basketball. The reality. We win some big games, we have some good seasons, but we have never had a top-tier program. I say we never will, but that's just me. We compare to NC State, only we're way worse. I'll continue my love for the team and enjoy my wins and occasional good seasons.
At this point, Mike White and Mark Fox are peas in a pod.
Mark Fox took over the chit show he inherited from Dennis Felton. He did a good job of getting us to respectability. Some 20 win seasons, a trip to NCAAs.
He didn't help himself on a personal level, being a prick and all. But he did make us decent. Much like the NC State people, we wanted more.
Along comes Tom Crean, another weirdo coach who took us from 18 wins a season down to 6 wins in an entire season. For me, another prick. I disliked the ego maniac from his first press conference.
Mike White has us back to Mark Fox level. For those of you who want him gone, there's always a Dennis Felton or Tom Crean out there ready to take the job. So be careful.
