I'm not sure why Kirby offered Him. He doesn't look to have the talent to compete at this level. I hope We pass on Him and if nothing else, save it for an early entry in Dec.
Just throwing names out there. Brown and price is not Kirbys fault. This class would have bean last in the sec.

Richt would have got price and allen. Smart could not close the deal. He is going to have to pick up his recruiting to beat the good teams in the sec.
There will surely be a graduate transfer type or two signed between now and the Spring Game. Not sure we want to chance a homeless (for whatever reason(s)) JUCO at this stage of this recruiting season.
The dude from Rhode Island is visiting tomorrow. He looks good enough to start at a tackle position this coming season. He only has the single year of illegibility though.

We have been in top 10 several times - how many yrs in past 15 have we finished in top 10? Hell I know he will lose games this yr - the cupboard is no where near as full as it was when cmr took over - it will take him a yr or 2 to get us in the thick of it - I really can't believe I'm this bored to be arguing about this - we haven't been really good since bvg left

I can't think of any coach that has ever been better than Saban - not many better than urban - so no ...I'm not betting on him being better than 2 of the best of all time - we have finished in top 10, 5 times in past 15 yrs - so I am betting he will be better than that

Maybe he'll be better than Richt, but historically only once has a coach replaced someone with CMR's winning percentage and won more games. That's Jimbo Fisher at FSU and even he will never match Bowden's unbelievable run of consecutive top 4 finishes. I'm hoping Kirby's everything you guys think he's gonna be. Just thinking it's not gonna be as easy to surpass those "disappointing" ten win seasons as you guys think.
