With Coach Cal’s exit last offseason the drama between the two was palpable. Who would we score as being the victor this year? Kentucky had the better regular season but Arkansas went into Rupp and handled them soundly in a huge game. Both made it to the sweet 16, but Arky looked like they belonged there more than Kentucky. Arky dealt with more injuries, although Kentucky was pretty dinged up as well. Who would you say won year 1 and who would you say is in better position going forward? I’m torn. I like Coach Cal more, but Pope seems like he might understand the portal more. I’m hoping Arkansas comes out on top in this battle in the future.
