I think we all know the answer, right? Athens is run by a bunch of liberals that love to tell other people what to do, even if there's no evidence that what they're pushing actually makes any difference. Especially involving Covid. "Science" has for a long time been liberals' religion, and Covid and the hysteria surrounding it dovetailed perfectly into their worldview. Similar to global cooling...err...global warming...err...climate change...err...what's the weather like today and how can we blame conservatives/extort money as a result?

No, no one is following it outside of maybe Normaltown. All about the virtue signal as usual.
I live in Athens and won’t go to a business that requires a mask. That’s the way I roll. Businesses can opt out if they want.

The way they are trying to keep the myth alive now is "but N95s - you just got to mandate N95s!"

Germany vs Sweden. Germany has had N95 mask mandate, Sweden basically laughing about masks for 2 years.
Like every other major data set, shows not a damn bit of difference. Which was what research existing at beginning of covid said - that masks do not work for viruses such as this. One of a dozen things they mocked and censored us for pointing out.
Maskers and covidians are the new flat earthers, and quickly pivoting into the next flat earth event - climate change.
