will UGA put pressure on the city of Athens because of this murder?

They need to. I recommend a boycott of anyone attending Uga until they do. If Uga has a big attendance drop then Athens will suffer.

Athens Mayor and un city council live in a world of woke women and unstable men. This has evolved and will not change. They hate UGA and the students and faculty. They want tattoo shops and used furniture and lots of migrants and street poor. Defies the idea of The Classic City of The South!! 65. hey man I been here since 1952..

If no students then faculty lose jobs and businesses all start to close. Drop in revenue. I thought years ago about buying a place in Athens. So glad I didn’t.
