I don't have any doubt Kirby will succeed in the shifting world of college recruiting and re-recruiting and re-recruiting. But I doubt the concept of team culture, as Kirby uses it now, will survive. The Raiola situation popped up when he hired an agent. We will see that explode exponentially next year. With the population of NIL agents exploding like tribbles (and relatively unregulated compared to NFL agents) and the absence of collective bargaining, things like Bloody Tuesday will soon disappear. Soon agents (not coaches and the NCAA) will be determining how athletes spend their time preparing for play. Creating a unique culture of toughness, commitment to the team above self, and bonding exercises will be a thing of the past.
