Been slow today at work so been perusing the internet talking heads previewing the Sugar Bowl. A couple of common themes I've been seeing.
First there is a lot of mentioning about this game being program defining for nd and how a win over Georgia could propel them to sustained success blah blah blah etc. It got me to thinking how many times have I heard that over the last few years. It feels so good to be the standard bearer, the icon if you will (for the wrestling fans out there) for college football. We are everybody's target and I love it.
Second almost all of the ones I saw today mentioned this Georgia team isn't the big baddy of past Georgia teams. They say we are capable of beating anybody but not quite the same. Now I don't argue this point but my point , about how good we have it right now, is that even in our "down year" we still won the freaking SEC Championship! Even with the so called new addition blue bloods.
Simply put. These are the good ole days. Enjoy them my fellow dawgs.
