storylines of "college football will never be the same", the "we can't compete in NIL", our staff won't use the portal properly and the various "sky is falling" comments that have filled this board since January 1st, and for those comments that are certainly still to come, remember this:

Even in a year that had many scratching their head on numerous occasions, there was ONE and ONLY ONE team in the toughest conference in America that won a Championship during the 2024 College Football Season ... that team was the University of Georgia Bulldogs - 2024 SEC Football Champions.

When the negative thoughts enter your head and you want to bash a player, a coach, the administration or anyone who puts their love, energy, blood, sweat and tears on the line each day for this program ... just remember that it was still a Championship year. Don't let the media diminish the joy that a Championship season should bring. Every team has deficiencies and every team is experiencing change in the way this entire sport is played and managed. Let's just be thankful that we have the Kirby Paul Smart leading our program and know that as long as he is at the helm, there is not another person alive on this planet that will work longer, love deeper, care more and fight harder for the University of Georgia than he will.

And yes, this is "The Vent" and this is the place to come and air it out. That's fine, but with so much negativity during the offseason, just a reminder that life is good and that the Dawgs have won 2 of the last 4 national championships and 2 of the past 3 SEC Championships. This claim cannot be made by rivals bama, lsu, flahda, allbarn, tenn regarding the SEC, nor for clempson, ohio state, meechigan, usc, gtu or anyone else on the CFP side.

Don't despair. Rise Up! For even in a year that had some ups and downs ... "It's Great To Be, a Georgia Bulldog!"

Now we return to our regularly scheduled programming. Go Dawgs!
