I think a lot of folks had their likability of McAfee upped when Gameday came in ‘22 and he did the “Calling the Dawgs” segments on his show Fri and Sat on Gameday to start the show against Tenn.
Then during the 2023 SECCG, as many remember, he trolled the Dawgs with the “Calling the Dawgs” and then picked Bama at the end. It was all fun and games but he definitely used a treasured Ga chant to kind of poke fun at Ga.
Curious how he’ll be received this week on Gameday. I don’t think many Ga fans have forgotten that and wonder if he’ll try and “Call the Dawgs” this go-around. Think it would be kind of funny if fans just boo him when he does it (they won’t because most folks won’t remember what he did during the 2023 SECCG) but still kind of a fun storyline to watch.
