The streak had to come to an end at some point. I think I would be more down if we lost in the Playoffs.

Losing the way it happened in the SECC makes me feel better about 2024. Banged up guys, bad officiating and a piss poor game plan once Mims went down, turn the ball over inside your 15 yard line and miss a FG. Only losing by 3 points.

Would it have been legendary for a three peat? Yes. But lets be honest. Nobody has back to back in the CFP.
Also add to the fact expanding to 12 CFP teams next year. Hard to think we miss out on a 12 team playoff.
