NonDawg Y’all bear with me…question for Veterinarians and folks in the know about cats…

[Golden Boy]

My cat, Larry, who is a “senior” cat (he was a stray so we don’t know exactly how old he is) has been diagnosed with kidney disease. It has been suggested we start him on a prescription-based cat food that is to help his kidney function.

I’ve priced it at Chewy.com and it is very expensive. Are there better retailers or other medicinal options to consider ?

Board is moving slowly so I hope this is ok to post here for the Vent knowledge base.
