And, if they were out of the tournament, that made us much more likely as a participant in Atlanta, which carries its own inherent risk.
But get us in a 12-team with no OM or Bama, and I like our chances. Every other team in that field will have to work hard to convince themselves that they can beat that red helmet with the G. And we won’t be scared of any of them.
Let’s win the next 2 and sit tight for the Sugar Bowl on January 1, most likely playing Penn St. or the 10 seed, whoever in the world that is. We owe them one in that building.
