Actual conservatives should be praying for any legal outcome that would take Trump off the table for 2024. Anything else will be a disaster.

DeSantis, Kemp or Youngkin would be Biden, there's no doubt in my mind with that but Trump is going to so badly bloody them that Biden and Harris have to be liking their chances now. GOP can't make the same mistake they made in 2015/2016 and let Trump go into the early Winter of election year with little to no push back. They need to crush him now! In football terms, you wouldn't let Derrick Henry get a 10 yard head start and want to tackle him right, you want to slow him down in the backfield before he picks up a head of steam. Republican equavalencies to defend Trump are truly a hoot.

Biden - Takes photo with Sen Byrd, who at the time has an over thirty-year legislative voting record to prove he had disavowed his earlier racist beliefs.

Trump - Host a small dinner for a notorious and unapologetic white nationalist and anti-semite just last week and, despite growing criticism from his own party, refuses to distance himself in any way.

Obviously, these two things are totally the same.
