I’m getting screenshots sent to me this morning from people posting on TOS alleging that I said on RVF that Georgia turned Qua Russaw away.
That couldn’t be more misunderstood. Georgia led for Russaw for the majority of his recruitment. Georgia was Russaw’s first choice. Things were mishandled (in Russaw’s camps point of view) after a visit with he and Smith to Athens.
It is true that there was distancing on Georgia’s side when came to Smith. I don’t think anyone realized just how serious those two were about playing together in college.
By no means though did Georgia turn Russaw away. Feel free to correct that misunderstanding if you’d like haha
