The theme for the season feels like it's going to be "3 and D". Fire away from deep and then defend our rear ends off on the other side of the court. Let's look at our three point numbers in conference play compared to other SEC teams in conference play:

Three point %
1. Bama............42.2% (27 for 64)
2. Ole Miss......38.9% (14 for 36)
3. UGA.............38.2% (21 for 55)
4. Tennessee...32.2% (19 for 59)
5. Auburn.........30.0% (12 for 40)
6. Mizzou..........29.8% (14 for 47)
7. Florida...........29.2% (14 for 48)
8. Miss St..........29.0% (9 for 31)
9. Kentucky.......27.9% (12 for 43)
10. South Car....27.1 % (13 for 48)
11. Vandy............26.4% (14 for 53)
12. LSU................22.5% (9 for 40)
13. Arkansas......22.2% (10 for 45)
14. TX A&M.........17.0% (8 for 47)

We are third in three point percentage in SEC league play which is fantastic but the biggest number is we are third in the league in attempts. So we are taking a bunch and making a bunch. A great combo!!! We have outscored both of our SEC opponents by EIGHTEEN points both games from deep. We are averaging 27.5 attempts from three in our two SEC games, a good bit more than we did in the non conference per game. Keep firing!!!!!

*I know we will have some rough shooting games, but honestly, this appears to be this teams strength offensively and we will just have to take the good with the bad. And my goodness recruiting gets a LOT easier if players see three point numbers (attempts) like this throughout the season.

**Obviously on D we have been FANTASTIC. We haven't allowed 70 points in either game. Let's keep it rolling! Go Dawgs!
