Been a LONG time problem:
"President Trump's administration proposed turning USPS into "a private postal operator" as part of a June 2018 governmental reorganization plan, although there was strong bipartisan opposition to the idea in Congress."
"Unlike other employers, though, the USPS is required by the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act (PAEA) of 2006 to pre-fund retiree health costs out of current income. The unique drag on the Postal Service comes from this congressional requirement."

Take a 100 year old problem and blame it on Trump.
Problem started about 10 years ago when Congress demanded USPS has to fund pensions who aren't born yet. The Post Office has long been something to bitch about, like the price of gas. Dejoy announced a few months ago that service is slowing down.
The truth is hard for you. Or research.
2015 the postal service lost 5.1 billion dollars in the 14-15 fiscal year. With today’s inflation that is equivalent to 15 billion.

The current problem is crappy service due to Dejoy's changes. Remember the Mail in ballot problems in 2020? The losses are due to the requirement to fund pension benefits for the next 75 years. Yes, employees who are not born yet.

All of that may be true, but blaming the issues with the postal service on Trump is a reach. Been around for a long time. That is a reach even for the most ardent tds sufferer.
