I have mix feelings about this to be honest . I think the tent city is a civil rights violation and also think he enforced laws that are on the books that are not popular.
I think the fair thing would have been let him get sentenced and reduced the sentence depending on what the judge gave him . I think he shouldn't done anymore than two years .

Had nothing to do with immigration. He was ordered by the court to stop illegal profiling and when he didn't the court stepped in. Probably why he lost his re-election to a democrat.

it is very difficult to prove illegal profiling. The police in Arizona could set up a legal roadblock specifically looking for people with no license or a suspended license and catch a fair share of illegal aliens. No need to racially profile. That doesn't mean a liberal judge wouldn't find Arpaio guilty of profiling especially since BO and his admin wanted to shut him down.

U want it to be cut and dry guilty but there was a lot of politics involve in this. He was guilty in one judge's opinion who was prejudiced against him. They wouldn't give him a jury trial which he requested.
Judges in the 9th circuit said the travel ban was unconstitutional but supreme court said it wasn't.
We will learn more when Arpaio gives a news conference next week. He says he was railroaded.
