Just in case someone wants to read an article and not believe more fear porn. Like vlad is writing speeches. Jesus man. He suggested that they could have made a deal. And this could have been stopped a long time ago with less death, and less on the table the Ukraine may have to give up.
Your article doesn’t help your argument.
It quotes Trump saying that Ukraine was responsible for the war and Ukraine was responsible for not ending it, even though it was Russia who invaded Ukraine and Russia is primarily responsible for the “barbarism” Trump references.
Today, Trump also directly parroted the Russian propaganda that Zelensky only has a 4% approval rating. That’s a completely invented number that’s been used by Russian media for a while. Where did Trump pick that up?
Here’s some interesting reading for you. See some similarities? The primary difference is that Trump isn’t even bothering to include our European allies in the process.
This hasn’t all happened as of today, but just keep watching.
The **Munich Agreement** of **September 30, 1938**, was a settlement between **Germany, Britain, France, and Italy**, allowing Nazi Germany to annex the **Sudetenland**, a region of **Czechoslovakia** with a significant ethnic German population. The key provisions were:
1. **Czechoslovakia Must Cede the Sudetenland** – Germany was allowed to occupy the Sudetenland beginning **October 1, 1938**, and complete the occupation by **October 10, 1938**.
2. **International Commission to Determine Further Border Adjustments** – If there were additional territorial disputes, an **international commission** (including Germany, Britain, France, Italy, and Czechoslovakia) would resolve them.
3. **No Military Action by Czechoslovakia** – The Czechoslovak government was **not allowed to resist** the German occupation, essentially forcing it to accept the terms.
4. **Protection for Ethnic Minorities** – The agreement promised (but did not enforce) protections for **non-Germans** in the newly annexed regions.
5. **Avoidance of War** – British Prime Minister **Neville Chamberlain** and French Premier **Édouard Daladier** sought to prevent a European war by appeasing Hitler.
6. **No Czech Representation** – Czechoslovakia was **not included** in the negotiations, despite being the affected country.
The Munich Agreement is widely seen as an example of **appeasement**, as it emboldened Hitler to make further territorial demands, eventually leading to **World War II** when Germany invaded the rest of Czechoslovakia in March 1939 and later attacked Poland in September 1939.
