I am just glad you still alive and kicking. Kinda miss the BS.

I like all that. Do you plan on negotiating this by calling Putin a pos, war mongering savage in the media. Threaten him with force and tell him he is at fault for everything. I think some diplomacy is needed. I 100 percent agree with you that Putin needs to be threatened behind closed doors. Deviate from this deal and it won’t be pretty. My question was how do you get Putin to the table to agree with it. Without putting us on the brink of ww3Russia gets Donbas and most eastern areas, Ukraine keeps the nuclear power plant and half the Black Sea border. I think having a USA presence and resource access is fair in terms of restitution for all we’ve done as part of a security guarantee.
Finally, international oversight of elections should be a condition or Putin will hijack all the elections.
Trump is the biggest liar ever in history. But he may have been forced to say this because Putin told him too. So sick for the Trump team to abandon Ukraine at this critical time and start negotiating with Russia without Ukraine at the table. And then start negotiations off by saying Ukraine cannot join NATO and Ukraine must give up territory. Ukraine has fought so hard and given up so much fighting for their survival and all the free world. (Now let's sit back and watch MAGA Trumpers try and twist these facts with their fake facts.)

The Dems and Republicans were getting kickbacks from what they sent Ukraine that’s the reason Biden was sending them so much money.Ukraine was corrupt before the war and corrupt during it. Probably be corrupt after it.
Sign me up. Sounds good to me. I would imagine this is what they are hashing out right now.Russia gets Donbas and most eastern areas, Ukraine keeps the nuclear power plant and half the Black Sea border. US Military complex - Deep State would benefit as Ukraine would have to retool military equipment to meet NATO standards. Pres Z was installed by Obama & USAID. It was a no lose for Deep State - Putin invading & US providing an endless supply of weapons is a perfect - endless war for Dem’s & Deep State. This is all well documented - Z was/is the Dem’s puppet. He also didn't want Ukraine being able to join NATO, and I agree with that. Ukraine would have nothing to contribute to NATO.....they'd be nothing but takers......like most member countries of NATO.
Zinger, I think that when a Republican congressman from Nebraska is directly calling out a Republican POTUS for being a lying propagandist for Russia, its safe to say we have a problem that exceeds partisan disagreement.
None of this surprises me one bit. He isn’t and never will be a straight line pub. It is why Trump has won elections. Because people are so sick of the left and the right. He only identified as Republican because he had to before the 2016 election. A lot of People would just assume puke in their hand than have another establishment Democrat or pub run things. You defended Biden and Kamala with every breath. While they bent you over for four years.Zinger, I think that when a Republican congressman from Nebraska is directly calling out a Republican POTUS for being a lying propagandist for Russia, its safe to say we have a problem that exceeds partisan disagreement.
Do you recall in your life ever seeing something like this?
Edit: Seems the Europeans are making the exact same points.
I remember living thru the Reagan yrs and Reagan was roundly criticized for being friendly with Gorbachev even though he was economically breaking Russia. I remember Reagan's opponents stating he was a dunce and would have his lunch eaten by Gorbachev. I don't remember Reagan being enamored with wars that could not be won and a leader of a corrupt country that was costing us billions to defend that couldn't account for the money. The statements by Trump the last few days reciting Russian talking points are one of the most despicable things I have ever seen a President do in modern history. I can’t believe the Republican Party has gone from a pillar of strength against communists and dictators to kissing their asses in the span of a few years.
If you were a Republican who lived during the Reagan years I don’t know how you can support what is obviously turning into complete capitulation to Putin.
Zelensky did not lose $100b. That’s more lies, which I don’t think you are spreading intentionally. I do think you are uninterested in the truth when it makes supporting Trump more challenging.None of this surprises me one bit. He isn’t and never will be a straight line pub. How has Zelenskyy treated Trump over the years? Why would he trust him? I am not applauding or condemning any of this. I don’t like Russia or the Ukraine. They are both corrupt. The damn guy lost more than half the money we sent over there. Zelenskyy is a damn grifter, and Putin is a psychopath. There has been massive amounts of proven propaganda or lies produced from both Russia and the Ukraine. I hope Trump finds a way to screw both of them.
This is true and important as to our next steps. We need Russia to pull away from China. China is the one we need to fear and that is why we need control of Panama. Trump is making the right moves though he was not given much to work with.I also think Trump will try to formulate a closer relationship with Russia and put China on an island. Putin knows that China is only cozying up to them because China wants leverage over them. China has been doing this to countries around the world....pretend to be their friend, loan them money...only to have ultimate power over that country.
Russia and their citizens have far more in common with the US than with China. Russia does not have the economy or military might they once had and know they would be far better off in an alliance with us than with China.
Why do you democrats want to forever view Russia as an adversary?
I've got a couple of friends up here in Hiawassee who are from Russia, and they still have family back in Russia. They tell me that if you asked ANY Russian citizen, would they rather be more like the US or more like Russia, the response is the US 100% of the time. They despise China.
I think he is using what ever tactic he can to end the war. Sometimes there are no good countries in a war, sometimes there are both good and bad. Someone is in it for the right reasons. Pretty self explanatory. Big reveal in your post. No kidding, every country has their good and bad parts. And by the way, you couldn’t tell the difference from a fully functioning human and one who isn’t. So spare me that take. Please. I said Putin is a psychopath. 🤦♂️Zelensky did not lose $100b. Where Is the Missing $100 Billion in U.S. Aid for Ukraine?
“I don’t know where all the money is"—CSIS expert Mark Cancian covers the facts behind Ukraine’s “missing” $100 billion.www.csis.org
You should really think about your “whatabout”ing on this of all topics. If you can’t see the blindingly clear difference between the dictator and war criminal who murders his opposition and launched this war and the democratically elected government fighting to defend their sovereign territory, you’ve really lost your way.
Do you think Poland was a perfect country when the Nazis rolled in 1939? How about the UK, who still had colonial holdings across the globe at the beginning of WW2 and you could argue that colonial populations were treated as poorly as how the Jews were treated in Germany at the start of the war?
So I guess there were no good or bad countries in WW2 until we got involved, right? Hey, just don’t look at race relations and how poorly we treated blacks who fought in the war.
Try and say, just in this instance, that Trump is wrong to lie and that his shilling Russian propaganda while offering up not a single condemnation of the war criminal in Moscow is wrong. Everyone knows it is the truth and you might find it liberating.
History tells us that ending a conflict with a murderous dictator through appeasement tends to provide a temporary reprieve at best.I think he is using what ever tactic he can to end the war. That article looks like spin. Which I get. Either way Zelenskyy is a full blown idiot for saying what he said on camera. I don’t know where all the money is. Word for word.
It would be nice if you read my entire post and not focus on one thing. I have said I don’t care for either Russia or the Ukraine. The war just needs to end. Those two aren’t going to negotiate to end it. Ukraine would stab us in the back in two seconds to benefit them. Same with Russia. They aren’t an ally. I guess In your eyes I am wrong for not saying Russia is the only bad guy here. I don’t see it that way. I don’t like war period. I don’t support what Trump is saying, but I have a feeling it is for effect. And a way to bring both sides to the table. You want to continue to be an all day sucker for Zelenskyy be my guest. Biden is cogent right?
I am aware of history. His history and others. He is a terrible leader and human being. Since we are speculating about what could happen. And speculating the very worst possible outcome. I will speculate some.History tells us that ending a conflict with a murderous dictator through appeasement tends to provide a temporary reprieve at best.
If you think the comparison is extreme, perhaps the thirty eight journalists in Russia who have been murdered since Putin took power would have thoughts to share.
Maybe check in on the 20,000 or so children estimated to have been forcibly taken from their families in Ukraine and rehomed with Russian families.
Alexi Navalny would have thoughts, if he hadn’t been murdered while being wrongly held in a Russian prison.
Maybe look into the Bucha massacre, where hundreds of civilians were executed in the streets, many with their hands tied behind their backs. Some were tortured before being killed. Or the intentional targeting of a maternity hospital and a theatre known to be housing civilians.
I could go on, but it’s too depressing.
You should study Neville Chamberlain. I bet he would have thoughts to share today on what happens when you appease a dictator.

Saying that Ukraine started it and Zelenskyy is a dictator are just stupid and wrong. Nothing new here.Direct quote from the Orange Jesus to Zelensky about the war.
I thought Russia invaded Ukraine, not vice versa.
Is Vlad writing Trump’s speeches now or what?
You mean ben sasse? He's a clown. Guess he brought the swamp mentality to gainesville. He resigned.Zinger, I think that when a Republican congressman from Nebraska is directly calling out a Republican POTUS for being a lying propagandist for Russia, its safe to say we have a problem that exceeds partisan disagreement.

Honest question. Do you believe Ukraine can defeat Russia and be a sovereign nation in whole without direct assistance that involves manpower from other countries (ie, the USA)?Trump is the biggest liar ever in history. Since you didn’t bother to read the thread before commenting on it, I’ll repost what I posted above. You mean ben sasse? He's a clown. Guess he brought the swamp mentality to gainesville. He resigned.
In his 17-month stint as UF president, Ben Sasse more than tripled his office’s spending, directing millions in university funds into secretive consulting contracts and high-paying positions for his GOP allies.
Sasse ballooned spending under the president’s office to $17.3 million in his first year in office — up from $5.6 million in former UF President Kent Fuchs’ last year, according to publicly available administrative budget data.
A majority of the spending surge was driven by lucrative contracts with big-name consulting firms and high-salaried, remote positions for Sasse’s former U.S. Senate staff and Republican officials.
Sasse’s consulting contracts have been kept largely under wraps, leaving the public in the dark about what the contracted firms did to earn their fees. The university also declined to clarify specific duties carried out by Sasse’s ex-Senate staff, several of whom were salaried as presidential advisers.
Honest question. Do you believe that if we appease Putin and reward him for his invasion of Ukraine that he will stop there? What would you possibly base that belief on? We’ve seen this story before and murderous, expansionist dictators don’t just decide one day that they have enough. It never works that way.Honest question. Do you believe Ukraine can defeat Russia and be a sovereign nation in whole without direct assistance that involves manpower from other countries (ie, the USA)?
I have never believed that could be possible. And putting men on the ground would essentially start another WW.
Ukraine is not united. The eastern 1/3 of the nation is pro-Russia. The initial conflict began by casually rolling Russian tanks into the eastern front bc they knew there would be little to no resistance.
If somehow Ukraine were rescued from Russia today there would likely be a civil conflict.
I’m not in favor of bending the knee to Russia. But they are in the position of strength. Not the US and not NATO.
