Bake ham for Pat Dye

Poor man was not in good health. A great alum, and a great player for the Dogs!

He was a good guy and a damn fine player for the Dawgs. Met him once at a game in Sanford, was very nice to me. Also ate some good bbq with him at his quail preserve in Auburn. The likker was flowing freely, for sure.

RIP, Pat.

Pat dated my next door neighbor in Athens. Her name was Betty Jean and he taught her how to fish on the Oconee and maybe some other things. She could bait a hook and clean a fish. He came by in a 1950 Mercury to pick her up. Her father also said Pat was a nice boy.. RIP Pat.. 65
