This is my base sauce...adjust amounts to taste. I add other things sometimes...just play with the ketchup to vinegar ratio and adjust sugar for sweetness

Sometimes....none of my sauces are overly sweet.
I always make my own, but blues Hog original is a killer sauce, they have a ton of sauces, but have only tried original

Agree 100% ... hence the Tennessee Red Sauce, it’s a perfect marriage with pulled porkPulled pork requires vinegar based all the way. Just use your favorite vinegar based sauce.
I also make a very simple finishing sauce for pulled pork...just vinegar, black pepper and red pepper flakes...
Agreed. Good meat doesn’t need sauceProbably goes without saying, but sauce on the side. I want to taste the smoked pork and then decide how much sauce or at all.

The Neelys used to have a BBQ show on the food network. I haves used this recipe for years and everybody loves it. You can save part of the batch out and add some hot sauce and extra cayenne pepper for those that like it a little hotter.
