(Bud seems obsessed with Colbie Young. Arian was on the field more when Colbie was playing. Weird take by him.)

Chip Patterson: Where do you see..... now that we know the matchup.... What are going to be some of the keys to this"

Tom Fornelli: Um ...I mean it's interesting because I'm trying like in my head...... I've been trying to handicap it and it's like how much of a home field if any do you give Georgia because of the games in Atlanta.

Chip: Superdome

Tom: Oh! Oh! That's right. Wow! Okay. Never mind. So still, but then how many points do you think Carson Beck is worth because I'm trying to figure out if like Notre Dame's gonna be a six-point favorite or a five point favorite.

Bud Elliott: I think they'll be like what, two or three?

Chip: One or two, yeah.

Tom: Well then I know what side I'm gonna be taking

Bud: Yeah uh... by the way I I know Colbie Young was cleared to practice, but they said he could not play unless the charges were dismissed. As of the December 10th hearing they were not dismissed. That matters to me. We could talk Stockton to Beck is what? Probably a field goal maybe four. Probably not more than that because Beck was not playing like amazingly this year. We have to kind of assume like what's the base level of Stockton. We know Georgia has been trying to backchannel like different kids to transfer to Georgia this this year, so you kind of miss me with this we have max confidence in Gunner Stockton crap. We know......

Chip: no no no no no. I think the space between ceiling and floor is smaller with Stockton. I think the space between ceiling and floor is larger with Beck. I think Beck's ceiling is higher. I think when Beck breaks bad it's worse.

Tom: You don't think they're about the same? You don't think the floor drops with Stockton?

Bud: That pick he threw against Texas... they shouldn't be.... if Texas can follow its blockers to the end zone, Georgia can follow its way to the Citrus Bowl.

Tom: I mean, I think Georgia is gonna have to run the ball a lot and be very effective against Notre Dame to give itself a chance.... to give Stockton a chance. Can they? I mean have you seen enough from their run game this year to be that confident that they'll be able to just kind of control the game with it?

Chip: So Etienne was banged up a lot and he comes back he has a great SEC Championship Game

Bud: George's passing game is worse than Indiana's right? Stockton and no Colbie Young? All right, snap call: Indiana's receivers or Georgia's without Young. I know who I'm taking.

Tom IU's.

Bud: Yeah! Now Georgia's got a much better offensive line. They're not getting whipped like that. but I'm taking Rourke over Stockton. yeah for sure 100%

Tom: Yeah, for sure.

Chip: Yes. 100 percent.

Tom: I think people are going to be surprised. Even in our comments tonight there's a whole lot of George's going to kill him.

Bud: (reading comments)"Bud is trolling. Georgia's WRs are better. Colbie hasn't played in several games." And that's been a problem for several games. They're running out Arian Smith and pretending he can catch and Dylan Bell's a scheme it up guy. He's not a guy that goes out and wins by himself. Is Dominic Lovett gonna torch these guys? Maybe. Maybe he will. I like Dom Lovett. He didn't hit his season long prop total that's all that today.

Chip: Oscar Delp

Bud: Okay.

Tom: Oscar Delp could ball out. I mean listen. If there's one man who can save the Georgia Bulldogs, it is number four in red.

Chip: It is Oscar Delp and Cash Jones. Okay? I'm just imagining it's gonna be Tate Ratledge, Oscar Delp, Cash Jones, Gunner Stockton arm and arm. (Does Chip know about Rolo and is he trolling him here?)

Bud: FanDuel just opened it. Notre Dame one and a half. Georgia minus 18. Basically call it Notre Dame by one.

Tom: Hold on. I'll be right back. (placing his bet on Notre Dame)

Chip: Wow! Okay!

Tom: Did you not watch Stockton?

Bud: I saw him go 12 of 16. We'll ignore the fact that it was for 71 yards. I mean that would be dead last in the SEC by the way. That's 4.4 per attempt.

Tom: I'm not going to dismiss that Georgia has a chance to win because I think defensively they can limit Notre Dame's offense. I think they can keep him in the game and if you force a couple mistakes, whatever. But I don't have much faith in the Georgia offense to do a whole hell of a lot in this game.

Chip: I mean I I picked Notre Dame to beat Alabama when they introduced the bracket. I picked Georgia to beat Notre Dame. I'm I'm gonna stick with that. I think Georgia wins. I think they are not the most talented Georgia team that Kirby Smart has had. I think that they have.... I think they've met the moment in a couple spots that give me confidence that they could do it again.

Tom: Cool

Bud: If they can shut down Texas.... I guess here's the counter factor to my and Tom's love for the Irish. If they can absolutely go bully bully ball defensively against Texas the offense twice, couldn't they do that to the Irish?

Tom: yeah

Chip: yeah for sure

Bud: okay

Tom: Like I'm not completely ruling it out

Bud: Is under better? 45 and a half?

Tom: Maybe but I'm just saying as far as my power ratings are concerned I'm very quickly grabbing Notre Dame minus one and a half.

Chip: And look, I do a lot with Mike. Mike McClure, Sportsline. Mike thinks Notre Dame's going to the title game. He's like "this Notre Dame team is for real." He is a believer. I think Mike McClair is super smart and we've respectfully been on opposite sides of that one. but he's like "Yeah, Notre Dame" and he called it early. Everyone was like "you're an idiot". He was like "I promise you Notre Dame will be favored against Georgia." Sure enough, it opens up Notre Dame favored against Georgia. I don't want to make this look as though I I discount what Notre Dame has done or can do. In the same way Tom, that you're not discounting what Georgia could do. But I think I am on the other side of that. I think I've got more confidence in Georgia and maybe it is blinded by the logo on some level. But Georgia has gotten by with some easier regular season schedules than a lot of their opponents in the Southeastern Conference. They did have to play a tough schedule and they get in a horrendous spot down 28 to nothing against Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Carson Beck played terribly in that loss to Ole Miss. But they pushed around Texas twice and they stormed back against Alabama. I'm just not going to sell them down the river right away. Especially playing in New Orleans in the Sugar Bowl on New Year's Day at the end of that first round at the end of that quarterfinal day.

Bud: Did Riley Mills come back in?

Tom: No. He was walking on the sideline. Look, if you're an SP plus guy, cool. Go with Georgia. You can throw out my power ratings. But I will say FPI, Notre Dame is two. Sagarin, Notre Dame is one. FEI, three. Georgia's not.

Bud: And they don't change their power ratings when players are out. Nothing changed with Beck out.
