Assuming you are not on a promo deal ( been with them more than a yr), do you call up and get a lower rate when promo is over?

Just found a "Choice Pacakge" that gets me the Genie whole house dvr in 2 rooms for $50 a month including equipment. FREE NFL TICKET, Free Movie Channels for 3 mos.
Fine print says it goes up $40 in year 2. Does anybody keep paying that?

There's always a ton of fine print with them....

they usually work on 2 year contracts so you'll have to pay the increase in year two or cancel with a fee. Good service but you have to pay.

the movie access will drop if you don't extend . the nfl ticket will continue with the charge to your bill unless you decline at the end of the season. I dropped the nfl ticket and moved up from choice to the next level . I like directv better than Comcast .
