business, stuck our heads in the sand for years, worked hard, enjoyed mostly prosperous lives and allowed this attitude to creep in and dominate a huge swath of society. We didn't want to do the tough stuff like demanding people work to eat. We just imported cheap labor, paid the blacks off, grumbled about taxes but paid them and paid the useless off anyway and also ignored the complete debasement of culture. Out of sight, out of mind for the most part. I think we were blind when we should have seen.
It's all JMO. I certainly don't think everything I believe must be 100% right and reasonable people can disagree, but I think we kinda asked for it as a group. It suited us to ignore the rising storm. It crystallized into the modern democrat party and the election of Barack Obama. Now the storm is here and it is about to rage. Now all they have to do is destroy the dollar when it's possible and the time seems right to them. You know more than I do about economics and trends, but it looks like there is a strong international movement to dump the dollar and move towards China. I think a perfect storm is brewing and we are going to turn into the third world overnight sometime in the next 25 yrs. Genocide of some type to follow. Our society is now soft and unprepared for true mass poverty without safety nets. Hope I'm wrong.

I took a break from Einstein book to read the first
Iceberg Slim one. My God it's funny. Very insightful as well. Will read either the Lombardi book or "Stonewalled" next. If you haven't read Patti Smith's "Just Kids" you ought to give it a try. I think it was fantastic.

Wish the Einstein book didn't seem as much like
