Offense

Several of the projected OL starters did not play, mostly due to previous injuries, or did not receive many reps as they’re trying to get as many of the young players “game ready” as possible.
Told “still some work to do.”
Did hear that Michael Uini is putting in some good work.
Both Gunner Stockton and Ryan Puglisi threw and moved the ball relatively well. Stockton had a touchdown run and hit Zachariah Branch for some big plays.
Branch has been very impressive throughout the spring. He’s been bringing some “sizzle” to the receiving corps; runs great routes. Freshman CJ Wiley made some nice catches over the middle. London Humphreys did as well.
Freshman back Bo Walker showed good bursts at running back. So did Chauncey Bowens and Dwight Phillips II. Was some improvement in the overall run game, but still a lot of work to do.
Tight ends were probably the most consistent group of the offense as several guys made some plays.

Defense

Elijah Griffin has been creating buzz all spring, and understand he had a very good scrimmage. Feeling is he has a chance to be special.
Jordan Hall has had a good camp. Zxavier McLeod showed the ability to be disruptive at the point of attack.
Chris Cole and Justin Williams had good scrimmages. CJ Allen and Raylen Wilson are the starters, but the two youngsters are playing very well and had a good day on Saturday.
Young cornerbacks are getting a ton of work. Demello Jones and Ellis Robinson IV have both seemingly improved, at least a little. Robinson still needs to be more physical.
Of the new safeties, Adrian Maddox had a good afternoon, making some plays on the ball and tackled well.
Outside linebacker Quintavious Johnson continues to show bursts and had an interception off a tipped pass.
