Here's some thoughts on the democratic fire disaster...

Got a feeling there is going to be some serious privilege extended to the richest residents in the area. They'll be a lot of folks with little clout that get pummeled but the ones that have the bucks and can have someone stick a mic in their face anytime they want will be getting their expedited permits.

In the comments there is another rant posted that to me is the most spot on thing he has ever said. The left doesn’t want to sit down and look at their scorecard for the last 8 years. Never has something been said that is so true. How can you continue to crow when in golf terms the left hasn’t broken 150 in 8 years. That is how bad they have been with their policy and opinion on just about everything.

Continuing with the analogy. The Dems would change their reporting rules and then report they shot a 75 without telling anyone they only report the score from the front 9.

Then 2 months later they would adjust their score up.

Wait until Kamala Harris is governor.
She’s toxic politically. Not because she got trounced. Her problem is that she was totally exposed as a supremely untalented politician. Her best bet is to milk whatever she can from book deals while she still has a handful of suppprters.

She clearly got to where she was based on being a somewhat attractive female minority who can (kind of) read a script. And she follows orders. She was a stylish pick for a time. She’s done.

Adam Corolla knows what he is talking about as he worked in construction before he was a comic. So between that background and knowing the celebs and politics of the area, he has a better handle on these issues than almost anyone else.

Couldn't happen to a more deserving class of people.
He also has a bit describing his own experience applying with the Fire Department in Los Angeles. He was told he would not get in if he wasn't an identified minority. Said he got a call back seven years later. When he went in for testing he asked another applicant (black, female) how long they had waited, and told her that he was finally hearing back from them after 7 years. When did you apply? Wednesday. That happened in 1983.

When you base your entire governing philosophy on specific voting blocs, stylish Hollywood issues, and identity politics….common sense falls through the cracks. When the shit hits the fan common sense always wins.
