Here's what Elon Musk is doing

Glad everybody's OK with lawbreaker Musk having access to all your personal info.
The Government was hacked months ago under Biden and everyone w a SSN was hacked. Didnt hear a thing from you then. Didnt hear a thing when our POTUS was a corpse for 3 years and the media hid it from us.

Get over it.

Glad everybody's OK with lawbreaker Musk having access to all your personal info.
Like the hundreds of thousands of treasury and IRS employees who have the same access?

What are you afraid of? Honestly what is this nefarious goal that the richest man in the planet has with your SSN? Because he is so motivated to take your money? What is it that the left is so afraid of?

Any independent audit focuses on flows of cash. Best way to determine where money is going is to actually see where money is going. From there if it is a good use of taxpayer funds? Great. If not…he’s saving you money by reporting it to those who can change the policy.

From Heather Cox Richardson:

I’m going to start tonight by stating the obvious: the Republicans control both chambers of Congress: the House of Representatives and the Senate. They also control the White House and the Supreme Court. If they wanted to get rid of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), for example, they could introduce a bill, debate it, pass it, and send it on to President Trump for his signature. And there would be very little the Democrats could do to stop that change.

But they are not doing that.

Instead, they are permitting unelected billionaire Elon Musk, whose investment of $290 million in Trump and other Republican candidates in the 2024 election apparently has bought him freedom to run the government, to override Congress and enact whatever his own policies are by rooting around in government agencies and cancelling those programs that he, personally, dislikes.

The replacement of our constitutional system of government with the whims of an unelected private citizen is a coup. The U.S. president has no authority to cut programs created and funded by Congress, and a private citizen tapped by a president has even less standing to try anything so radical.

Usually when feathers are ruffled to such an extent, we might be on to something.

The only power Musk has is to shed light on what taxpayers are paying for. That’s it. From there to your point something legal would need to take place in order to cut programs - either from exec order or legislation.

The question remains - why is the left so afraid of Americans knowing where their dollars are going?

Elon is exposing the waste and corruption!
The dims have NO VOICE.
We have the Supreme Court, the House, the Senate and the White House.
These are GLORIOUS TIMES AMERICA!

It really is. I kept saying the shoe will eventually be on the other foot over the last four years. Don’t whine about it when it is. Well, here we are. Man they are coming out of the woodwork to cry about things.

I honestly had no idea what USAID was until the other day.

It appears that Democrat governance is nothing more than theft and robbery and money laundering.

The Biden admin willfully violated the rights, privacy, and free speech of PRIVATE individuals and businesses.

The Trump admin is simply shedding light on what the PUBLIC (aka taxpayers) Fed government is doing and putting some much needed oversight and guardrails in place.

See the difference?

Cry me a river on the “rights” of the federal government funded by the taxpayer. They work for us and like any stakeholder, we are entitled to transparency and accountability.

When you hear USAID, it makes you think that it is a group with discretionary funds to help out nations that need funds in time of need. Little did we as tax payers realize who snd what these funds were used for until Trump / Musk exposed them. According to our new SOS Rubio, this group reported to no one and they gave money to countries and causes that were against US foreign policy. It’s no wonder that the administrators of USAID were in panic mode when they were told to hand over all computers and files. Nothing to hide, then don’t panic.
Corruption at its finest.

"Heather Cox Richardson" doesn't care about the "constructional system." (She apparently doesn't even understand it.

You don't care about the "constitutional system."

99% of Washington for decades hasn't cared about the "constitutional system."

It's only a problem when you're losing.

Senator from Iowa said she has tried to review USIAD for years. They have refused to respond and only obstructed her from obtaining information on expenditures. 97% of USAID employee political contributions went to dims. Rogue agency used to funnel tax dollars to dim politicians and and their pet projects. It’s time to real in by any means necessary

It's the only power he is supposed to have. I don't have any problem with that, but he is exceeding that power or are you not paying attention. Too many examples already. Musk didn't like the FAA fining Space X for safety violations and was essentially responsible for the head of the FAA resigning at a time they need leadership. Yes, the government spends money that it shouldn't, but that's nothing new. Congress stays elected by getting money for their area. Musk is looking to end the IRS's direct file program. He doesn't have that authority and what is wrong with that program. He says he will shut down the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. That is not shedding light on anything.

I look forward to a more efficient government, but don't think this hatchet approach is the best.

I don't see as much support for Trump as the continuing negative comments on the past. They were appropriate last year in making a decision on voting, but now Trump is in the spotlight. I see excitement over the Canada and Mexico tariffs and the "concessions" he got which don't seem significant. What happens in a month? A big news story this morning is the China tariffs and their response to those. I have looked at the Chat this morning and don't see any mention. Guess that's not positive news for Trump, so people have to keep telling themselves how great things are going.

Jury is out, but I'm looking for significant changes in regard to immigration (very much needed) and inflation/household costs (which can't be directly effected) since that is what Trump promised.

All Musk is doing is making recommendations that have to be approved by the president. As far as the constitutionality of some of the executive orders, it will be sorted out by the courts. It is funny watching the left and career bureaucrats squirm when someone asks them to justify their existence though. This is something that everyone in the private sector goes through on a continuous basis. We all complain about government waste and excessive bureaucracy but when someone actually does something about it the meltdown is glorious.

The concessions he is getting are huge. Do you think Trump will be like Biden and not ensure Mexico follows through with the 10000 troops being sent to the border. And even more damning to the left, Mexico defying Biden, not following through and having no punishment is even more telling of how weak the last administration was.

Proving my point by concentrating on the past (which is a low bar). If you are talking about concessions Trump got from Canada and Mexico, I don't see it.

So we are supposed to be able to fix the current problems without seeing the root of the problems from the past? Makes tons of sense. You people are unreal.

You voted low bar. Let the current admin have a chance to fix what you voted for and STOP THE INCESSANT CRYING WHINING COMPLAINING about Trump. YOUR SIDE AND YOUR VIEWS AND YOUR POLS WERE SO BAD TRUMP WON. So sit down.

Unbelievable.

Trumpees either don't care that a rogue agent has hacked their government's records, or they think it's OK because the agent is the richest man in the world, and they all worship and adore rich guys.

At best, doge is gonna get the US involved in countless costly and time-consuming lawsuits. At worst, American citizens are going to be stomped on by Elon and his bunch of computer nerds.

You're not gonna like it when the dogers turn against you, and sooner or later they will.

I hate DC. I hate the administrative state. I hate the leviathan of bureaucracies.

Elon shares my hate, and has the power to fight them. Go, Elon, go.

Your mentality of deference to those who steal from us is a threat to my children.

Even left leaning business media have said China's "retaliatory" tariffs don't do $hit, and signal zero appetite to escalate a trade war....instead they want to talk and make a new trade deal. They are in a serious economic shitstorm and are in no position to take us on economically.

It is absolutely unbelievable that anyone can think like that. You continue to give a mouse a cookie. He is going to want some milk too. You have to draw a line in the sand at some point. This is the fear porn now. We have a madman on the loose. 🤦‍♂️

I don't disagree with this. Did you see me criticize the Chins tariffs? I just pointed out no one had mentioned it.
