Numbers are being manipulated. That being said, as soon as we have quick, easy, cheap testing this thing is dead. We can’t wait for that, that will be here soon enough. Go ahead and open wherever we have low risk areas and isolate high risk people.

Those people were infected before the shutdown or shortly thereafter in their homes by another family member infected before the shutdown. New cases nationally came down again yesterday. Which is the predictor for hospitalizations and deaths in the future. The death number will absolutely begin plummeting.

The whole point of the shutdown was to flatten the curve such that we made sure we wouldn’t overwhelm hospitals. That has been done. For some reason there is a growing voice moving of the goalposts now to extend shutdowns not to flatten the curve, but to kill the virus completely. Thus killing everyone financially.

Mission accomplished. Time to begin a rolling re-start in areas less affected.
