Let's hope it doesn't. Absent big inflation this record debt/GDP is going to be hell on our country and for our children. More trillions in waste is the last thing we need.

Not a chance. If democrats truly believed dropping a nuke on an SEC stadium would win them the election, they would do it. It's the beauty of a philosophy that says the Man in charge right now is so evil, any collateral damage whatsoever is justified. You can literally rationalize anything when you equate your politics as good and the other side as evil.
