I can't believe this guy might come to us out of the blue. If you haven't seen his Hudl video, check it out. We might end up with a real star, and he doesn't even have a 247 page.
Awesome pickup. Camps play a large part in recruiting and would guess he maybe did not attend. Great find either way. 4.45 is not blaring speed but know mo seemed to be fast in pads as well.
Corch Richt could've helped him become a good defensive back!I put blazing speed down the list a bit when evaluating RB's. He's plenty fast enough.
I see a lot of the things I focus on. He fights hard, he never seems to accept being tackled. He has fine balance, he was hit and spun 360, came out of it still running hard twice on film. He is very strong, and he shows very good vision. He is in the mold of our resent line of top backs.
We didnt overlook him , he had some academic problems big time because of an error with the Teacher . Those have been corrected and Kirby is all out now.I can't believe this guy might come to us out of the blue. If you haven't seen his Hudl video, check it out. Grades are the reason.
Marshall would be worth millions if he'd stuck with being a DB. Richt told him that was his ticket.
Maybe his grades were really bad as an underclassman and most thought he wouldn't go to college.
I just watched his Sr video again. As nuts as it seems, he might actually be as good as Holyfield. He looks better than some of the high profile RBs we missed on this year. We ended up getting 2 backs that look perfect for our offense...hooray for us.
I read on Dawgnation if I remember correctly that he had a 2.15 GPA and missed on his ACT. The points he needed on his ACT were certainly achievable, but if his GPA was that low, I wonder if he can stay eligible at a place like UGA anyway. Remedial courses and passing football players to keep them eligible went out a long time ago.
