I can't believe this guy might come to us out of the blue. If you haven't seen his Hudl video, check it out. We might end up with a real star, and he doesn't even have a 247 page.

Awesome pickup. Camps play a large part in recruiting and would guess he maybe did not attend. Great find either way. 4.45 is not blaring speed but know mo seemed to be fast in pads as well.

I put blazing speed down the list a bit when evaluating RB's. He's plenty fast enough.
I see a lot of the things I focus on. He fights hard, he never seems to accept being tackled. He has fine balance, he was hit and spun 360, came out of it still running hard twice on film. He is very strong, and he shows very good vision. He is in the mold of our recent line of top backs.

Corch Richt could've helped him become a good defensive back!

We didnt overlook him , he had some academic problems big time because of an error with the Teacher . Those have been corrected and Kirby is all out now.

Grades are the reason.

Maybe his grades were really bad as an underclassman and most thought he wouldn't go to college.

I just watched his Sr video again. As nuts as it seems, he might actually be as good as Holyfield. He looks better than some of the high profile RBs we missed on this year. We ended up getting 2 backs that look perfect for our offense...hooray for us.

I read on Dawgnation if I remember correctly that he had a 2.15 GPA and missed on his ACT. The points he needed on his ACT were certainly achievable, but if his GPA was that low, I wonder if he can stay eligible at a place like UGA anyway. Remedial courses and passing football players to keep them eligible went out a long time ago.

UGA hasn't played those games, but other schools must. When Auburn has players scoring 6 on the NFL aptitude test you know they weren't capable of passing college courses, yet none lost eligibility.

With how quickly The AD changed transfer policy for Kirby I honestly wonder if we're going to maintain the integrity we had under Richt.

I like Kirby, but he obviously has different priorities from Richt's.

This kid's film is sick. He looks like a combination of Tyler Simmons and Keith Marshall. He has ideal size, strength, & straight line speed. One cut and he is gone and god help you if you get in his way. He is a must get and to top it all off he loves UGA. Given our lack of depth at the position this kid could end up being a huge get. Combine him with Holyfield and we've got ourself another dynamic duo. Sign him and follow up with two elite backs from the super loaded 2017 running back class and we are set for quite awhile. Him not having a star rating must obviously be because of his academic issues because from a strict talent standpoint he looks as good as any I've seen. What are the chances he becomes eligible? From what I understand he only has to raise his ACT score by two points which is very doable. However he has to make all A's this semester in order to raise his GPA to an acceptable level. That will be a much tougher ask in my opinion but surely to god his teachers will give him the necessary bump if he puts in the effort. I can't imagine a teacher would deny him his life long dream because of a few grade points.
