Kirby made similar comments about Beck after the Florida game. What this shows, to me, is that Kirby gets it. You can't coach each player the same way. Kirby understands he had to handle Stet a certain way and handle Beck a different way in order to get the best out of them. I don't think he was ever shy of getting in Stets face and losing it with him but with Carson, he puts his arms around him and looks to be encouraging him, despite playing worse than Stet ever did. Two different players. Two different approaches. My guess is they are both Kirby's way of trying to get the best out of each player. He's a damn good coach.
And yes, I selfishly wished he would have unloaded on Carson during the UF game for some of those throws, but that's why Kirby makes 13M and I'm typing about it on my computer. LOL
