to your home be free and water ?

In most cities they have city ordinances that state if a homeowner don't have working utilities then it's considered a condemned home .

Google "Detroit water shutoffs" and you will see that water is quickly becoming a right.

I think water should be. Land too. But not electricity .....but even then, you know , what about energy from water, wind, and coal? Seems more if the benefit should go to us than to big corporations ... Not all, but way more

Why does one man, or one company , have the right to exploit the earth for their own private gain? They didn't make that water, make that land, make the air we breathe

Actually, they do make the water(drinkable) and should be paid for that, it isn't free. People should have some responsibility for keeping themselves alive. Not to mention, it isn't a large corporation profiting, it is the local water authority.

It's drinkable in its natural state. Only after cOrporations pollute the snot out of it, or big agro dumps chemicals in it, is it in need of cleaning and purification .

In any event , I'm in favor of the group carrying the cost of water cleaning, through general taxes.... And then give the clean water to everybody for free

There a man I was reading about in Huntsville Alabama that has solar panels and isn't connected to city utilities and the city took him to court .to force him on the system .

All water borne illness are not caused by man, so, no, water is not safely drinkable in its natural state. Any basic level camper can tell you that.

That is pretty common, I think. Have read of that going down in several states. Not right, but common place.

Yeah, I think you can find some item to nitpick in every sentence .... Point is, water belongs to all of us
