I know, I know, politics and 3 undefeated P5 champs will be basically impossible to overcome, but I’m speaking in a strictly 4 “best” teams way.
The committee will have to convince the country that Georgia after losing their final game of the year to media darling Bama is magically not #1, they’re #5?
I know the whole most “deserving” will probably be an element which is why 13-0 P5 champs get the nod.
It’s just crazy to think where we’re potentially headed and this is only one scenario. We’re now deep enough into the season that we’re staring down the reality of every P5 champ having an argument at the end.
