He’s far from the best coach. He’s just benefitted from having the best resources in all of college football. Not just money but also the best recruiting base. Give him credit for succeeding while his predecessors couldn’t but he’s taken advantage of the current landscape with virtually unlimited recruiting ability $$$
As a game-day coach he was considered horrible just 4 few years ago. See fake punt in SEC Champ game. He underperformed for several years u til the wild Wild West became the reality

That was my point. My entire post was based on money and “resources” and “current landscape”. He’s taken advantage of the advantages GIVEN him and not that he created. I guess I should have been more specific.
